Donald Thump is a parody game run by the maker of Donald Thump ("we"). The short version: no accounts, no cookies, no ads, no tracking. Questions: hello@donaldthump.app.
What stays on your phone
The game saves a few things in your browser's local storage, on your device only: your stats and unlocked weapons, your settings, whether you've paid for the drinking game, and a random code that identifies this device's purchase. We can't see any of it. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes it.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe receives what it needs to take the payment (such as your card and email for the receipt) under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation that a payment happened, the amount, and the random device code, so the game can unlock.
Servers and third parties
- Hosting: the site runs on Railway. Like any web server, it may briefly log technical details of requests, such as IP addresses, for security and to keep it running.
- Fonts: text fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
- Desktop only: the "play on your phone" QR code loads a small script from cdnjs (Cloudflare).
Children
Donald Thump isn't aimed at children under 13. The drinking game is for adults of legal drinking age (18+ in the UK).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Since we don't hold accounts, there's usually nothing beyond Stripe's payment record. Email hello@donaldthump.app. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
